Set up your AI team in one conversation
When you sign up, a setup teammate called the Owner Bot (named Chief) builds your company with you in chat. It reads your website, and your email if you allow it, then creates departments, each with its own memory and a named AI lead.

Most AI tools start empty and wait for you to explain your business. MatesBot starts by researching. The Owner Bot reads your website into a company-wide memory that every teammate can use, including teammates you add later. It never asks again for what you already gave it.
With your permission, it reads the last 30 days of company email at summary level and sorts what it learns by department. Then it asks short multiple-choice questions about your products, customers, and goals.
Each department becomes its own section with its own memory and a named AI lead, for example "Sara, Finance & Tax Lead". When image generation is available, each lead gets an AI-generated portrait. These leads are AI teammates, not people.

Sign up with a work email
Free email addresses are refused, so your company account is tied to your business domain.

Enter your company details
Then press Start free trial. The Owner Bot opens a chat with you.

Choose what it may do
Allow any of: read the website, connect and read company email, create departments, organize memory by department, and connect other tools.

Answer a few quick questions
It asks short multiple-choice questions about products, customers, and goals, after it has done its own research.

Meet your departments
Each department appears with its lead and its own memory, ready for its first task.
Example tasks
- Read your website and write a company summary every teammate can use.
- Find from recent email which topics belong to sales, support, and finance.
- Create a Sales department led by an AI sales teammate with a name and title.
- Store product facts in company memory and finance details in department memory.
- Connect the tools each department needs, such as email and calendar.
What stays in your control
- You choose each permission. Nothing is read without your OK.
- Email is read at summary level, for the last 30 days only.
- Department memory is shared only with the teammates you choose.
- You can rename, edit, or remove any teammate the Owner Bot creates.
